Licensed in the State of Florida for Athletic Training, Luke brings his vast knowledge of the body to our practice by evaluating injury, performing therapy, and stretching.

About

Luke is a state-licensed and BOC-certified athletic trainer (ATC) who brings a vast knowledge of the body to our office by evaluating injuries and performing therapy. ATCs are healthcare professionals who specialize in the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of sport-related injuries. They are skilled in emergency medical management, injury assessment, rehabilitation, and treatment of athletic-related injuries through therapeutic modalities. Luke has a wide range of skill sets, including orthopedic injury evaluation, Muscle Energy Technique, Active Release Technique, Positional Release Technique, Dry Needling, Cupping, IASTM, kinesiology taping, and stretching, to name a few. 

Luke has been part of the Wellspring family since July 2022. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as an athletic trainer at the University of North Florida, working with men's and women's tennis, men's soccer, and women’s swimming programs. Additionally, he had a clinical education experience with NFL's Buffalo Bills (2016); as well as served internships in strength and conditioning working with athletes in Ontario Hockey League, Ontario Rugby League, Canadian Rugby Program and Canadian Inter-university Sports. A Native of Sunderland, Ontario, Canada, Luke earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Cornell College (2013) and a master's degree in athletic training from Daemen College (2017).
